Wapic Sold 30.555 Million Shares to United Alliance
Wapic Insurance Plc disclosed on Tuesday that United Alliance Company of Nigeria Limited with an indirect relationship with former board chairman purchased ordinary shares of 30,078,210 at 37 Kobo per share from the company on July 1st, 2020.
In a statement signed by the Company Secretary, Mary Agha, and released through the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the company said United Alliance purchased another 477,035 shares at 33 Kobo per share on July 2, 2020 to take the total purchase to 30,555,245 shares.
