Dangote Cement, Flour Mills, Vitafoam Report Insider Dealings

In accordance with the Nigerian Stock Exchange new policy on disclosure, listed companies have started announcing insider dealings to better foster transparency across the Nigerian capital market.

On Friday, Flour Mills, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc and Dangote Cement announced a number of insider dealings.

According to Vitafoam’s statement released on the Nigerian Stock Exchange website, Dr. B.O. Makanjuola, a non-executive director, purchased 2,593 shares of Vitafoam at N5.10 per share on the 1st of July, 2020 in Lagos.

Similarly, Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc disclosed that Excelsior Shipping Limited, a substantial shareholder, purchased another 250,000 shares of Flour Mills at N21 per share on July 1, 2020 in Lagos. This was in addition to the 3,229,764 shares purchased in the month of June. Bringing the company’s total purchase in the last one month to 3,479,764.

Also, Dangote Cement Plc reported that Nneoma Anochirionye, a staff of majority shareholder, purchased 3,100 units of the company’s shares at N125 per share on July 1, 2020, in Lagos.
