Herbert Wigwe buys More Shares, Total Now 6.8 Million

Mr. Herbert Wigwe, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Access Bank Plc, purchased another 3.669 million shares from the bank, according to the bank’s statement.

In the statement released on the Nigerian Stock Exchange’s website on Friday in compliance with the new disclosure rule, the bank said Mr. Herbert Wigwe purchased another 2,269,605 shares at N6.82 per share and 1,400,000 shares at N6.81 per share between June 17 and 18, 2020. Bringing the aggregate volume of purchase to 3,666,605 units and N6.82 per share.

Wednesday purchase

This is in addition to the 3,144,859 ordinary shares valued at N21,415,448.93 bought by Mr. Wigwe between June 15 and 16, 2020 and published by Investors King on Thursday.

Like the first transaction, the Managing Director purchased the shares through Tengen Holdings (Mauritius) Limited.

Mr. Herbert Wigwe has now bought a total of 6.8 million shares of Access Bank this week.
