  • COVID-19: First City Monument Bank Changes AGM Venue

The FCMB Group on Wednesday announced it has changed the venue for its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) previously scheduled to hold at the Shell Hall, Muson Center, Onikan, Lagos.

The bank attributed the decision to the present government restriction on public gatherings due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.

In a statement signed by the company’s secretary, Mrs Olufunmilayo Adedibu, and published on the Nigerian Stock Exchange website, the bank said the 7th Annual General Meeting will now hold at the registered address of the Company, First City Plaza, 44 Marina, Lagos.

It said “Please be informed that the 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of FCMB Group Plc (”the Company”) earlier scheduled to hold at the Shell Hall, Muson Center, Onikan, Lagos will now hold at the registered address of the Company, First City Plaza, 44 Marina, Lagos.

“This has become necessary in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and following the Federal Government’s restriction on public gatherings in order to ensure public health, safety and security of all stakeholders.

“All other details of the AGM, including resolutions to be proposed at the meeting, remain unchanged from those notified to shareholders on April 08, 2020.”
