President Muhammadu Buhari will address the Nigerian nation on Monday by 7 pm.

Femi Adesina, Media Aide to the President, disclosed this in a statement released on Monday in Abuja.

President Buhari addressed the nation two weeks ago after criticism by popular Imam of Peace on Twitter.

The Australian based Imam had joined millions of Nigerians to criticise president Buhari for not addressing the Nigerian people since the COVID-19 broke out in Africa’s largest economy.

President Buhari addressed the nation two days after the Imam tweets went viral on social media

The president will now be addressing the nation for the second time since Coronavirus pandemic broke out in Nigeria.
