  • COVID-19: El-Rufai Joins List of Positive Elites

The executive governor of Kaduna State Malam Nasir El-Rufai on Saturday disclosed that he has tested positive to COVID-19.

In a few tweets, the Governor Kaduna @GovKaduna said the governor “is in self-isolation as required by the case management guidelines of the NCDC for a someone that is not showing symptoms.”

“Malam Nasir @elrufai appeals to the people of Kaduna State to continue to closely observe the preventive measures already announced.”

It added that “it is most important that everybody should do their utmost to stay safe, stay home and stay alive.”The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has put the total confirmed cases in Nigeria at 89 as eight new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
