Guaranty Trust Bank Plc on Friday announced it would close trading in the bank’s shares on September 30, 2019 to allow the bank prepare its Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019.
In a statement issued through the Nigerian Stock Exchange and signed by the bank’s secretary, Erhi Obebeduo, the bank said: “Pursuant to the post-listing requirements of the Nigerian Stock Exchange for quoted companies, we hereby inform you of the scheduled commencement of the closed period for trading the bank’s shares on September 30, 2019, in respect of the Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019.”
The lender, however, noted that the Board of Directors of the Bank would consider the third quarter Unaudited Financial Statements on October 16, 2019.
“Kindly note that Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019, would be considered on October 16, 2019.”
“We shall notify you of the decisions reached after the said consideration,” the bank stated.
