Toyota has opened a new integrated auto centre in Abia state to boost the automobile sector in the state.

Mr Demola Ade-Ojo, the Managing Director, Elizade AutoLand, described the establishment of Unique Integrated Auto Centre in Abia state as a necessary tool for automobile growth in the state.

The Director, Unique Integrated Auto Centre, Jaja Ihesiaba, said: “the centre had been designed as the biggest showroom in Abia State with state-of-the-art facilities for Toyota products, adding that it would run the range of Toyota’s top line vehicles.”

According to him, the centre will offer modern repairs with gadgets and instruments of international standards.

These, he said, would enhance the automobile industry in the South East region as genuine spare parts could be acquired directly from Toyota International by anyone within the region without the usual hassle.

Another automobile engineer, Precious Mbuko, who was also at the opening of the centre, said if well managed, the project has the capacity to transform automobile industry in the state and support job creation in the community.

The opening ceremony was done by the Managing Director of Cornells Travel and Tour Limited, Madu Chibata.
