• Buhari Finally Appoints Aides; Adesina, Garba Shehu Reappointed

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally appointed aides months after re-election.

The president reappointed Mr. Femi Adesina as Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, while Garba Shehu also retained his position as the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity.

The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande, was also reappointed.

Mr Tolu Ogunlesi and Mallam Buhari Salihu were reappointed as Special Assistant on Digital Media and Special Assistant, Online Media.

The president appointed Senator Ita Enang as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs.

While Senator Babajide Omoworare is now the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate).

Mallam Umar El-Yakub, has been reappointed the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives).

The reappointment letter was dated August 14th, 2019 and signed by Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
