2019 UTME Results: JAMB to Release Results Today

  • 2019 UTME Results: JAMB to Release Results Today

Nigeria’s Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Friday said the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Board (UTME) results will be released today.

Pro. Is-haq Oloyede, Registrar, JAMB, disclosed this on Friday after a meeting with the board management in Abuja.

“We had a meeting yesterday. And so, we are releasing our results tomorrow (Saturday),” he said.

Over 1.8 million students sat for the examination between April 11 and 18, according to the board.

The board had previously refused to release the results as scheduled due to the level of examination malpractice recorded in numerous centers used for the examination.

Since then, the Board has been screening the results to weed out those who were involved in any form of malpractice during the examination, the Registrar stated.

Meanwhile, the Registrar caught and paraded an employee of the board who was reported to have collected a sum of N25,000 from a 2018 admission seeker.

He said the admission seeker reported the suspect to the management after he failed to meet up with the agreed terms.

“We are not hiding anything; we are ready to deal with anybody caught and they must face the wrath of the law,” he said.
