JAMB Results 2019: JAMB Explains Reason for Delay

  • JAMB Results 2019: JAMB Explains Reason for Delay

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday explained why the results of candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are yet to be released.

According to the board, the delay was to ensure that no candidate involved in examination malpractice go unpunished.

In a tweet posted on JAMB official Twitter account, the examination board said: “JAMB wishes to refute claims being credited to it on the release of the 2019 UTME. Candidates are advised that the results of the 2019 UTME would be released shortly.

“Results of the 2019 UTME are being delayed as the Board seeks to ensure that NO candidate involved in any form of examination malpractice is allowed to go unpunished.

“Candidates are, by this, advised to guard their profile code and registration details jealously as unscrupulous individuals are on the prowl to dupe unsuspecting candidates.

“The Board counsels all candidates to disregard messages and calls from any source claiming to have access to the Board’s classified information. Any information would be passed across via media outlets or the Board’s website http://www.jamb.gov.ng”.

Candidates who sat for the examination will be notified via email and mobile phone once the results are out.

Therefore, candidates are advised to exercise patience as they will all be notified.
