The 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results “would be released shortly”, Jamb stated in a tweet on Tuesday.

“JAMB wishes to refute claims being credited to it on the release of the 2019 UTME. Candidates are advised that the results of the 2019 UTME would be released shortly,” a message on its Twitter handle read.

The examination board further explained why the results are yet to be released.

“Results of the 2019 UTME are being delayed as the Board seeks to ensure that NO candidate involved in any form of examination malpractice is allowed to go unpunished,” it added.

It called on candidates “to guard their profile code and registration details jealously as unscrupulous individuals are on the prowl to dupe unsuspecting candidates.”

It also urged “all candidates to disregard messages and calls from any source claiming to have access to the Board’s classified information. Any information would be passed across via media outlets or the Board’s website.”
