The company has also disclosed that feedbacks have been positive as consumers across Nigeria were said to have continued to fall in love with the crisp apple richness of the Apple soft drink.

The firm said in a statement that the La Casera Apple soft drink contains five per cent of real apple juice.

It also stated that the soft drink was largely seen as refreshing and ideal to quench thirst.

To establish its position on the market acceptability of the product, the company made reference to two consumers – Miss Rita Chukwudi, 24 and 20 year-old Richard Akinyemi – who both admitted their loyalty and preference for the brand.

The Managing Director, La Casera Company, Mr Chinedum Okereke, while speaking at a stakeholders’ engagement, said in many homes and various events, La Casera Apple had become a common drink for those searching for a refreshing apple taste.

He said the drink was largely seen as the best apple drink in the Nigerian soft drink market.

According to him, the brand has maintained its strong position in the apple segment of the soft drink market in the past 17 years.

The statement added: “La Casera Apple has brought several innovations into the Nigerian soft drink market.

“For instance, when other players in the industry were still using recycled glass bottles, La Casera Apple pioneered the use of polyethene terephthalate bottles in the market.

“It took other players three years to follow suit. Today, the brand offers the best apple content in the soft drink market.

“La Casera apple drink is produced under very hygienic conditions and the production process is fully automated, making it free from human contact.”
