The world’s largest search engine Google on Tuesday launched a game streaming platform called Stadia.

Stadia, according to the tech giant, allows a video game to be played on any internet device, therefore, eliminating game consoles.

Google disclosed this at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, California. The company hope to connect more people through its interactive play on PCs, tablets, smartphones and other devices.

Sundar Picha, Chief Executive Officer, Google, said the initiative is “to build a game platform for everyone.”

“I think we can change the game by bringing together the entirety of the ecosystem,” Pichai told a keynote presentation.

Google has already offered more than 100 game developers access to Stadia.
