  • GoDaddy Plans to Launch in South Africa

One of the world’s largest cloud platform, GoDaddy, is launching in South Africa next month.

GoDaddy provides cloud-based technology products for small and medium businesses, professional web designers and individuals.

The firm has over 18 million customers across the globe with 77 million domain names registered under its management.

“GoDaddy is the place people come to name their idea, build a professional website, attract customers and manage their work,” the company said.

The company promised to provide South African entrepreneurs tools to get online and “help small businesses make it big online”.

While the company presently offers South African domain registration and pricing in rand, it plans to offer additional services to the South African market and help deepen growth in Africa’s second-largest economy.

GoDaddy will launch its physical presence in South Africa on 13 March 2019.
