Following years of dominance and falling iPhone sales, Apple grants access to its well guarded iTunes movies and TV shows.

Apple announced at the CES 2019 that its former rival, Samsung, will now have access to iTunes Movies and TV shows app. Suggesting that Apple is now focusing more on its services business after sales projection were lowered for the last quarter of 2018.

Apple lowered its sales projection for the first time in 20 years, citing falling iPhone sales due to slow down in China.

Samsung is expected to launch the app on its 2019 smart TVs later in the summer.

Also, Apple has started allowing TV makers like LG and Vizio, access its AirPlay and HomeKit Technology.

Apple’s market value dropped to $720 billion from $1 trillion in August to now rank as the third largest company by market cap.
