Rand Merchant Bank Nigeria has announced plans to hold an investment and economic diversification conference in Lagos, as part of its fifth anniversary celebration.
The bank said in a statement that the conference aimed to engage investors, corporate managers, and policymakers in a dialogue on the principal building blocks that could drive investment and economic growth in Nigeria, as well as discuss lessons learnt by experienced captains of industry that had influenced investment and economic diversification in the country.
According to the statement, the keynote speakers would be Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah.
The statement said the theme of the conference, ‘Connecting the Building Blocks to Drive Inclusive and Sustainable Growth: Investment and economic diversification,’ would be discussed in two panel sessions under the sub-themes, ‘Attracting Investments for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth’ and ‘Private Sector Resilience through Economic Cycles’.
