  • ‘Tellco’s Solar Power Solution‘ll Boost Job Creation’

The Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Hajiya Aisha Abubakar, says off-grid power solutions introduced by Tellco Europe Nigeria for the Micro, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises will boost job creation in the country.

The minister said there was a need to bridge the power supply gap in the country in order to enhance economic growth and job creation.

Abubakar, who was represented by a top official in the ministry, Dr. Francis Alami, gave the indication at the inauguration of the company’s off-grid solar power solutions in Lagos.

She said, “I heartily commend Tellco Europe and SolarLED Solutions for the efforts they have made in trying to provide clean energy for the MSMEs in Nigeria. This is in tandem with the Sustainable Development Goals considered as a pathway towards sustainable economic growth in the country.”

The minister said the government was fully prepared to work with the organisation to boost the Nigerian economy.

According to Abubakar, the government is ready to ensure that enabling business environment is created for businesses to operate.
