A United Kingdom-based property firm also operating in Nigeria, Purple Premium Limited, says it will build 2,022 homes in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Kenya by year 2022.

Speaking at the Afro-Austria Business Summit, which held in Vienna, Austria, recently, the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Richard Obahor, explained that the move aligned well with the African Union Vision 2063, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of bringing job creation, housing, smart technology design and overall prosperity to Nigeria and other emerging markets in Africa.

The event was a gathering of corporate/community leaders, government representatives and key stakeholders to share ideas in response to the shifting paradigms in Africa’s economic development and global business climate.

A statement on Friday quoted Obahor, who hosted the Summit, as saying that his vision was to provide access to housing for 2,022 Africans in Diaspora by the year 2022.

According to the statement, the summit was well attended by an audience that included entrepreneurs, business owners, executives and government representatives, and that the deliberations at the event generated valuable contributions to the theme ‘Celebrating Africa’s New Dynamism.’

It noted that the event presented opportunities in Nigeria’s real estate, finance and small and medium-sized enterprises’ sector with emphasis on how to thrive in an increasingly volatile digital age and how to profit from Africa’s emerging economies and its opportunities.
