• Nissan Donates Patrol Car to Lagos For Security

Nissan Motors says it is concerned about the security situation in Lagos and its environ. This, it said, informed its decision to donate a new Nissan Almera car to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund in collaboration with Stallion Group.

The donation, it said, was an expression of its support for relevant agencies and organisations in the country as a socially responsible company.

The Managing Director, Stallion NMN, Mr. Parvir Singh, made the remarks at the presentation of the car in Lagos.

“Having followed the organisation’s achievements in recent years, Stallion NMN in collaboration with our principals, Nissan South Africa, is pleased to extend its hands of fellowship to the society that has made its business operations more secure and attractive. And, this is largely due to the activities of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund in curbing the menace of crime in the state,” he said.

The Director, Sales and Operations, Nissan sub-Saharan Africa, Jimmy Dando, said, “We will in collaboration with Stallion transform Nigeria into a notable manufacturing and distribution hub that can provide comprehensive range of passenger, commercial and recreational vehicles and gradually transform Nissan into one of the largest automaker not only in Nigeria but in the West Africa sub-region.”

Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the fund, the Executive Secretary/CEO, Lagos Security Trust Fund, Dr. Abdur-razaq Balogun, commended the gesture by Stallion and Nissan, especially at this crucial period in the country’s economic history, and expressed the organisation’s determination to remain focused on its assignments.
